Honorable J. Dale Youngs

2009. Dale Youngs brought 20 years of diverse litigation experience to the bench when he was appointed as a Circuit Judge in 2009.  In more than 16 years as a judge, he presided over nearly 100 jury trials, and handled a varied civil, domestic, and criminal caseload, which included several successful mediations of civil and criminal cases.  He served the Court as its Family Court Administrative Judge in 2018 and 2019, and was elected by his colleagues to serve as the Court’s Presiding Judge in 2021 and 2022.  He was twice invited to sit with the Missouri Court of Appeals as a Special Judge. 

A graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism and the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Law, Dale’s broad litigation experience in nearly every area of the law as an attorney and Circuit Judge give him the knowledge and perspective as a mediator needed to assist litigants in resolving their cases.
